We were warmed up and just finishing our sound check on Saturday when a storm approached from the south west that caused flash flooding and extreme lightning. By the time we got everything loaded up, there wasn't a dry stitch of clothing on the band and much of our equipment was soaked. We were very fortunate to not have anyone injured during this major thunderstorm.
We did not get to perform our patriotic show as intended. It just wasn't in the cards for this date. We will hopefully get another chance to do a tribute in Fultondale for those that have served in the military.
Our next scheduled performance in Fultondale is August 27. 2016 for the Fultondale Founders Day at 10:30 AM. We will be debuting the new Jeff Anderson project "Retro Hymns 2." This project features hymn favorites with the stylings of famous horn bands from the past.
